"Apaga y vámonos" - historia sobre las víctimas de la central Ralco
Así se titula el documental del cineasta catalán Manel Mayol, que refleja el trágico destino del pueblo indígena mapuche, de Chile. Sus territorios fueron inundados para construir la tercera central hidroeléctrica más grande del mundo. La película fue presentada en el Festival Internacional de Cine sobre Derechos Humanos "Un Mundo", celebrado en Praga.
La película narra la agresión que, contra un ecosistema de relevante valor ecológico y contra la comunidad mapuche que habita sus tierras, comete la transnacional española Endesa en los Andes chilenos. Esta agresión se manifiesta por la construcción de la gigantesca presa Ralco en el alto rio Bío-Bío, y la posterior represión que se produce contra la resistencia mapuche, llegando a enjuiciarla bajo leyes antiterroristas.
